(6,007 posts)that curtain of media bias, . . then maybe it's as good as you could expect.
Which is slightly over Bernie's likely percentage.

(12,471 posts)I got to the poll at 6pm. More cars in the parking lot than I have seen for a general election, and I have worked the elections for 20 years. (I couldn't work them this time, because of a conflict with my regular job)
Any way, The table for the RepubliCONs was empty. When I got there there were about 160 names on the list of folks that voted.
On the Democratic side, there were two tables, with lines out the door. One line had 715 people on the list. My name was on the other list, and I was number 688.
This in a town of about 5000 people.
I have never seen this kind of turnout EVER!
If this is a reflection of the rest of the state, which it often is, Bernie shall win this one.
I am certain of it.

(11,990 posts)...it means that there was a chunk of Hillary voters who voted for her despite feeling that Bernie ran the cleaner campaign. But hey, a vote is a vote, even if not entirely enthusiastic!

(3,795 posts)We're going to need some drastic changes if we are ever going to restore any semblance of integrity to our election system.
It's more important than supporting any one particular candidate if Bernie does not become the nominee.
We'll never be allowed to have a Bernie. Never.
And, it's WAY too easy for TPTB to ensure that's the case. For now and forever (unless we organize to change our voting systems).
