52-48 Clinton acc to CNN

Way to keep it close, Bernie!

Too close to call, they're saying. Characterizing it as "a very narrow margin" for her.

On edit: this is based on CNN exit polls. The spread from the reporting precincts looks much better for Clinton, but CNN is apparently comfortable that it's a much closer race.

Even if it's off by 4 in Clinton's direction, that's not a horrible result. We'll have to see where JudyM Apr 2016 #17

Unlike a lot of other states, it's likely that NYC returns will come in earlier and Manhattan is really the most predictably favorable part of NY state for Clinton.

The outlying parts of the state are a wild card...who knows what's going to happen there? North NY is a lot closer geographically, culturally and demographically to VT than NYC. W. NY is functionally midwestern. It's a big, complicated state and people make the mistake of thinking NYC is the totality of NY state.

Enthusiastic Bernie voters more likely to fill out exit polls than Workmanlike Hillary voters. Expect a larger margin of victory.
