Obama in NH talking about energy costs and jobs.

Doing very good job explaining facts.

Stated that foreign oil consumption in USA is below 50%.

I'm wondering how much savings there is or will be with the baby boomers entering retirement. Many of them will drive less and of course mean less energy consumption. Some of that will be offset by the new workers but that age group has fewer than in the baby boomer group.

Personally, I save between 300 to 360 gallons of gas a year since my retirement (about 45 a month). My usage is about 180 gallons a year or approximately 15 gallons a month. A savings of $90 - $120 a month.
