(1,183 posts)Human beings are moral agents who make choices.
Someone will be nominated.
It will be one or the other.
I care not which.
People will have to decide what they will do.
The convention is in July.
The election is in November.
A long time to consider your options.
Then are these options:
Do not vote; or, not vote for President
Vote for the Democratic nominee
Vote for the GOP nominee
Vote Green
Vote Libertarian.
As moral agents who make choices, you get to choose.
I will vote for the Democratic nominee.
How others vote, is none of my business.
Do not tell me your vote; do not explain it if you make a mistake and tell me..

(5,946 posts)maybe 20 or so, I am not used to seeing so many, nor having them actually not ignore me. so it was interesting when I went around polling them. Most were for Sanders, Two were for Trump. But if Clinton gets the democratic nod, well seems like those that would bother to vote were considering Trump as a second choice - Not the most informed voters, but hey, one insisted he was going to write in Rand Paul. That pretty much says it all.

(5,901 posts)I doubt they will be following her orders. I will vote for the Democrat, but I've never not voted for the Democrat. The young'uns have things like ideals and principles that they aren't going to give up yet. I'll vote for Mrs. Clinton if she's the nominee, but I will, for the first time, be voting for the lesser of two evils. I would skip, hop and jump to the polls to vote for Bernie. Mrs. Clinton won't get a dime from me, and I won't work for her election. If she's nominated, I'll cast my vote quietly for her and be sad for what could have been. I hope it doesn't come to that. I've watched the woman lie to the point that even her face is phony, and her voice is fingernails on chalkboard to my ears. Her smugness is nauseating. And I have no earthly idea who that woman would put on the Supreme Court. If she has any sense, she'll pick Michelle Obama!
Hey Hillaryites: She's only progressive on women's issues, because that's the only progressive talk I hear out of her. Everything else is Republican, Republican-lite, and Third Way. God Please Save the Democratic Party from Hillary Clinton!
