Is there any way Mittens can win without OH and VA? (Original Post) charlyvi Oct 2012 OP
He'd have to win the rest of the swing states and turn a traditionally blue state red. craigmatic Oct 2012 #1

Almost zero. SingleSeatBiggerMeat Oct 2012 #2
Virtually none. If Obama wins OH & VA plus NV is looking solid--it's over. WI_DEM Oct 2012 #3
In theory, yes. As a practical matter abumbyanyothername Oct 2012 #4

Sure, if Romney can win CA or NY that would help offset OH & VA Hawaii Hiker Oct 2012 #13
He'd have to win all the other swing states, including Wisconsin. Not happening. ncav53 Oct 2012 #14

Spot on question! President Obama has closed the deal in Ohio. Virginia can end Romney's path early on.

But there's a better chance Simon Cowell will be the next Secretary of State than Romney winning CA or NY...

He pretty much needs to run the table with the other swing states. He would need WI. Obama takes Ohio, he needs one other swing state. Don't take anything for granted and vote early if you can.

And almost all admit that without Ohio, his slog is uphill all the way and in 6 feet of snow. They have maps and pointers and other magical boards to show us their mental gymnastics required to get there and just about all of them admit....in the end.....that it is all but impossible without a miracle. They do talk a good line though... and lots of people only hear the first part of what they say and then conveniently dismiss the rest of it.
