They have been struggling. There have been multiple layoffs and ownership is out of state. I wouldn't take this "endorsement" seriously.

into the ground. Sales are going to get worse after this endorsement. But really folks please remember NEWSPAPER ENDORSEMENTS aren't worth the paper they are printed on. THey have never won an election.

and that's older folks. Their endorsement was so weak and not substantive it's obvious this was a play for readership.
