I'm not a Republican, so water won't melt me. And a bit of wind will just fluff up my hair!

(1,385 posts)Just as with regular absentee voting, you have to give a reason. There are a number of choices. I voted last week, at my local library.

(2,301 posts)Both my parents voted in-person absentee this year, using either 1C or 1D, which evidently is pretty flexible.
I'm not trying to sound insensitive towards those who will be impacted by this storm, but the fact is we don't have a HOPE IN HELL of winning this election if our supporters in Philadelphia are unable to get to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 6. A high turnout in Philly is the difference between winning and losing Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes, and we cannot win this election with Pennsylvania.

(2,379 posts)There's absentee voting, but you have to state a reason... not sure if there's a deadline to request an absentee ballot at this point, though.

Dem Party inside voter advocate so I was able to do in-person absentee ballot....which looked just like the type of ballot I always do....just did it at city hall
GOTV and keep VA blue.

(61,695 posts)Weather professionals are calling it a Frankenstorm. Since trees havent defoliated completely, cold temps from the cold front and the moisture from the hurricane could bring enough sleet to bring down tree limbs and electricity across the mid-Atlantic.
