Question about the relationship between OHIO & VIRGINIA

Considering that in 2008 Obama won VA by more than he won OH, doesn't that mean that if Obama wins OH, he is likely to win VA as well?

2008: Virginia = Obama +6.3

2008: Ohio = Obama +4.6

He may, but Obama's strength in Ohio has a lot to do with the auto rescue and Romney's opposition to it. But Nate Silver does have the President with a 60% chance of winning Virginia, so you may turn out to be right. If these numbers hold, Romney can't win.

Yesterday Obama was at about 52-54% chance of winning Virginia I think, and now he is up to 60%.

I suppose we have to remember though that Virginia wasn't even on the table for the Democrats until 2008. Not even Bill Clinton won it.

So it's still coming out of a long Republican history.
