2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumJohn King is a hack trying to save his paycheck, and CNN is in ratings crisis mode.
I haven't watched him since his bullshit analysis after the third debate. But it is obvious to me this stooge is obviously just saying anything he feels his corporate masters would want him to in context of losing his show and being demoted. He is obviously more worried about his own situation than telling it straight. Wolf Blitzer is obviously of a similar mindset right now as well. I think CNN realizes their ratings are in the trash can and they are trying to save their cash cow from 2008 and 2010, election coverage, by pushing one narrative that will keep audiences tuning back into them like a dealer that has just hooked a new crack-head. It's obvious, but I think pointing this out in a thread is worth it. I'm saying this as someone that used to trust CNN in regards to election coverage in the past. However, something has definitely been poisoned in the company culture over there at this point.

(978 posts)I can't watch CNN anymore. They seem like a cheering section for Romney at times.

(8,064 posts)cherry picked polls and spun like crazy for romney to try to get the voting public to make it a close race. i say we tweet and email them asking them why they LIED when they KNEW what the poll numbers were and why the cherry picked poll numbers they wanted to report on. so many pundits are losing credibility for reporting bogus pollsters like Gravis and Rassmussan, without telling people that they are far right wing ran polls.

John King would be an excellent fake gold jewelry salesman.
