(55,894 posts)"playing the woman card", don't you?
Maybe you think she just did this out of nowhere?

(10,476 posts)Hillary is simply riffing on Trump's idiot "play the women's card" comment rom earlier in the week.
Camp Sanders are such dour folk.
jillan
(39,451 posts)Why?
I am a woman. I don't care for this. That is my opinion. But yet you went ahead and insulted all Bernie supporters because I have an opinion.

(10,493 posts)The woman card, her lead in? Her campaign's defense to everything. They don't really want to discuss the real issues, they want to play games that distract us from them.
Then again, here we are sizing up our woman cards. FFS! This whole contrived woman card crap is just fodder for the masses to distract, once again, from real issues. If you think you're cool, or sassy, or what ever, pulling a wasteful peice of plastic out of your back pocket (that will eventually be on fuxking landfill), more power to you.
In the meantime, oil pipeline explosions in PA and in TX. Carrier workers are protesting their plant being shut down, and begging for urgent trade deal changes to save their jobs. There's also equal pay. Raising minimum wage to a livable wage. Making healthcare and prescription care affordable. Making quality education affordable. Cuts in TANF. IL still doesn't have a budget. I could go on, but wait, look, squirrel. Oh no, it's just my woman card. heeheehee hahaha, I mean that's so cool, right? Let's make it go viral! (Did you know that Hill's just learned what Viral meant back in February from a kid? Totally truesies!!!)

(19,877 posts)He's the one who brought it up.
Kittycat
(10,493 posts)So instead of taking the opportunity to have a real discussing on women's issues, while at the same time completely ignoring him - here we are playing Tracy Flick vs the world.
You know trolls are attention whores. You pay attention to them, and they just want more. You don't engage him. Go have a conversation with the voters. Give a speech outlining the real issues and provide real detailed solutions. Don't even mention the stupid card. Shut ignorance out of the conversation - don't become part of it.
Do you understand? That is how you discuss the issues when dealing with someone like that. You change the channel.
JaneyVee
(19,877 posts)You have not seen one Hillary rally, interview, or follow her on social media. You realize she responded to Trump by BRINGING UP WOMENS ISSUES. AGAIN AND AGAIN.
Kittycat
(10,493 posts)A stupid plastic woman card. The was absolutely no leadership or anything stately in what she did. It's an embarrassment.
When she does shit like this, ask yourself if other leaders across the world, who happen to be women, would have done something like this.

(68,584 posts)Trump slaughtered them...and consider that Bernie lost too.
Kittycat
(10,493 posts)You want to campaign like that, have at it Tracy Flick. Devalue our politics to plastic woman cards, because that really does something to elevate the discussion. I find her response just as sexist and disgusting, but please. Carry on.
Unicorn
(424 posts)She's used it wrongly all through her campaign.
Look at the card - it's only a campaign slogan for Hillary(not equal pay). That's all it means to her.
to promote her campaign.
Bernie is for equal pay and equal rights. But he has a lifetime of that(which she and her supporters want to devalue as they willingly support blatant corruption.)
I guess this just shows the truth about her and them. The truth has been there all along. Us liberals against corruption were just hoping the people supporting it so much were uninformed. They aren't. They choose it knowingly.
Kittycat
(10,493 posts)I just had a moment of verbal vomit above, lol. So over the bullshit. I swear it's like Tracy Flick running, and not a legit campaign at all.

(424 posts)And what good is it for discrimination when it gets politicized as one of a warhawk's campaign logos?
The very real women and children killed by Hillary's actions, ends her being a feminist for me. I am a woman and a consistent feminist. This devalues the woman card. Women need to use it for real and when it's right to use it. Hillary uses it as a campaign tool.

(10,500 posts)It could have included women from Susan B. Anthony to Madeline Albright. Hillary had some pretty amazing job approval numbers back then and probably would have gone into the binder too. Although (on edit) it occurs to me that it might not have been allowable to use a sitting Secretary of State in that manner.
