When Hillary was first lady of Arkansas she was named to Walmart board of directors and got free

rides on Walmart corporate jets. She stood by in silent approval while Walmart busted unions.

Bill Clinton signed permanent trade status with China that was a big gift for Walmart because that's where they import their cheap stuff. Hillary supported that too. This helped Walmart become one of the biggest companies, America's biggest employer even.

Now the Walton family is the richest family and guess what they are still donating millions to help Hillary Clinton beat the socialist. Bernie Sanders would put labor, environment, and human rights on the agenda when talking about Chinese imports, and they don't want that. Hillary is the Walmart candidate.

You can't serve both the Walmart corporation and the workers of Walmart because their interests are opposite. The workers want more pay and benefits, and better job security. The company is against all that. The interests are opposite. You can't serve both. Whatever words Hillary might speak on the campaign trail, we all know her campaign promises are worthless.

Why Did My Union Give an Early Endorsement to Hillary Clinton Over Bernie Sanders?
http://inthesetimes.com/working/entry/18766/afge-union-endorsement-hillary-clinton-bernie-sanders-labor

The leadership of my union, the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), officially endorsed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for president on December 10. The endorsement came after union leadership had informed its members on November 17 that they would not make a presidential endorsement for at least two more months and without holding a membership vote.

Fifty-five rank-and-file union members from over 50 different AFGE locals signed on to a letter developed by Labor for Bernie sent to AFGE leaders on November 16 that urged the union “to oppose an early primary endorsement for Hillary Clinton” and expressed support for Senator Bernie Sanders.

In response to the petition and the demand that the union refrain from issuing an early endorsement, National Vice President Gerald Swanke, from District 11, responded via email: "We're not. I don't expect an endorsement until at least the legislative conference."

The AFGE Legislative Conference of 2016 is scheduled for February 8, 2016. With the sense of urgency removed, many AFGE members began preparing to attend the conference to make the argument there to endorse Sanders. (more at link)

She also pushed them to give greater consideration to unions but as she was a junior member of the board, she had little power.

This was in the 1980s. To somehow imply that this means she was conspiring with 'the rich' is disingenuous.

she left, she was paid $64,500 in 1991 and held the post for SIX YEARS.

Everybody with half a brain knows what she was getting paid for -- to do nothing while providing political cover.

She was simultaneously on two other boards and a full time law partner who just happened to be married to the Governor. Good thing she was helping out the constituency, eh?

Our lives aren't perfect. Neither are our candidates. But we muddle through and most of us, anyways, make the best we can out of the situations that present themselves.

On other topics, like Wal-Mart’s vehement anti-unionism, for example, she was largely silent, they said.
...

Mrs. Clinton largely sat on the sidelines when it came to Wal-Mart and unions, board members said. Since its founding in 1962, Wal-Mart has fought unionization efforts at its stores and warehouses, employing hard-nosed tactics — like allegedly firing union supporters and spying on employees — that have become the subject of legal complaints against the company.

A special team at Wal-Mart handled those activities, but Mr. Walton was vocal in his opposition to unions. Indeed, he appointed the lawyer who oversaw the company’s union monitoring, Mr. Tate, to the board, where he served with Mrs. Clinton.

During their meetings and private conversations, Mrs. Clinton never voiced objections to Wal-Mart’s stance on unions, said Mr. Tate and John A. Cooper, another board member.
