(135,425 posts)Devine keeps fundraising, sucking in those Tubman Plus Seven donations, and squirreling massive amounts of Little People cash away at his own firm, where he produces ineffective, expensive ads that don't give BS the bang for his buck that he wants. He spent MILLIONS in NY and IN, and he's falling further and further behind.
So long as Tad can suck money out of that golden goose that is the Sanders campaign, he's going to egg his principal on, and encourage him to stay in and "fight" (for what? Fight to give Donald Trump talking points? Fight to cause his own constituents to become disenchanted with him?). He's, of course, welcome to do what he'd like, but he should understand that his actions and his choices will have conesquences for him that will resonate long after people forget he even ran for POTUS.

The Sanders campaign provided a list of 116 superdelegates that it said had switched from Clinton to Obama. The list did not include the date that a superdelegate switched, which made us instantly suspicious.

(2,348 posts)but they also remain completely oblivious to reality. For one thing, superdelegates don't often change their allegiance while the primaries are still being contested, but there's not one shred of evidence to suggest that they would ever overturn the result of the voters, or that they would move over and support the guy who has called their party corrupt and criminal.
By this point, given what we all know is going to happen, the right thing to do would be for Bernie to stop attacking Democrats. He just keeps digging himself a bigger hole.
