(1,214 posts)If it is inevitable, why not just wait for it? If this is some attempt at party unity, it isn't a very good one, but is typical of Clinton supporters.

(1,214 posts)Maybe they figured out that Clinton isn't going to give them "free stuff"? No doubt they are waiting for their "unicorns that fart glitter".
Or
Maybe it isn't a good idea to insult people whose vote you need. But that's ok, there are posts in the Hillary Clinton group that says the Democratic Party has: "carried the left too long" and that "Sanders supporters will come around", so nothing to worry about right?
I have to say, you hide it well!
SFnomad
(3,473 posts)an excuse why that's all ok.
The BS cheerleaders will either come around or they won't. I seriously don't care at this point. In 2008 there were PUMAs that thought they were all that and that the Democrats "needed" them, that Obama was a "weak" candidate and that he wouldn't win without them. They found out how immaterial were ... the BoB'ers look like they want to find that out the hard way as well. It's your choice. Either join the party or continue feeding off them sour grapes.
That Guy 888
(1,214 posts)I occasionally pop into the Hillary Clinton group and see the horrors(?) that have been inflicted upon the supporters of the inevitable one.
Again, then why bother to make posts complaining about it? If it's just to annoy Sanders supporters that's ok, as long as you acknowledge that (at least to yourself). Otherwise, if it's all over, why not just let it go?
SFnomad
(3,473 posts)It doesn't seem to stop you even though it won't make a difference ... why would you begrudge me anything different?
Ok, enough of you, I have things to do today ... buh bye.

(13,616 posts)The one thing Hillary supporters need to avoid is acting like a bunch of vindictive people who are angry at being embarrassed in 2008. Now matter how many "Millennials for Hillary" you try to trot out, the PUMAS mug for the camera and microphone, and make it very clear that 2016 is the big revenge flick they have wanted to watch since 2008. It's the one where a bunch of former liberals turned centre right thugs take their revenge on anyone not them, despite the fact that they were often their own worst enemies.
Remember how you actually tried to manipulate the legislature to say only Hillary could compare herself to Rocky? Remember how STUPID you looked? The person that tried to manipulate a bloody MOVIE using the stroke of a goverment pen has no buisness lecturing on behavior.

Bernie had something to say about the convention too:
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said on Sunday that if rival Hillary Clinton secures the nomination, he'll have to look at her platform before he commits to making an enthusiastic case for her.
"That is totally dependent on what the Clinton platform is and how she responds to the needs of millions of Americans who are sick and tired of establishment politics and establishment economics," Sanders said on ABC's "This Week" in response to a question about whether he'd back her in the same way she pushed for President Obama in 2008.
"You know, I can't snap my finger and tell people what to do."
Sanders said he hopes that if Clinton is the nominee, she will put together "the strongest progressive agenda."

Good Way to Go Ed! Hope that Bush Money does Great Things for the Democratic Party going Foward! We Dems DO KNOW about the strong ties between the Bushies and the Clintons. Poppy saw Bill as a Son and they Golf and Hug and ....Talk about Hugs ...what about that Photo of Hillary doing Kissies and hugs with Bush II at Nancy Reagan's Funeral? That was a shocker for us Bernie Dems...wasn't it?

(84,711 posts)there's no comparison with Bernie because the MOVEMENT has GROWN and we've built on our Support for Candidates "Incrementally" and we Aren't Giving Up...! Much as you think the Defeatist Disinfo Guys from Brock's "Action Group" can Grind Us Down....
We aren't Giving Up! The "Wind is At OUR BACKS."
Income Inequality will be the ISSUE....and BTW...you tout your Wealth and Influence here on DU constantly which begs the issue that you think that Democratic Posters here are all somehow lacking in having some lifestyle that can compete with what you have achieved.
That assumption about DU Posters is what is so puzzling from you. But, I'm not interested in scratching your surface. 's
brooklynite
(94,571 posts)...but it STILL doesn't CHANGE the MATH in play; unless Sanders gets results in California and New Jersey that PALE in comparison to every other candidate in Democratic history, he's going to lose.
