Related: About this forumAnn Romney on Fox News today: 'I don't even consider myself wealthy'
By Alex Seitz-Wald on Mar 5, 2012 at 5:07 pm
Apparently Romneying defined as accidentally bragging about your place high up in the economic stratosphere runs in the family.
His wife, Ann Romney, inexplicably talked about her wealth this afternoon during an interview on Fox News. We can be poor in spirit, and I dont even consider myself wealthy, which is an interesting thing, it can be here today and gone tomorrow, she said.
Watch it:
The couple made $20.9 million last year, making more in a day than an average American makes in a year, and are worth about $250 million overall.

(1,068 posts)Like - that's sure easy to say when you have never, ever been poor! Yikes!
But other than that ridiculous comment, she comes off personally like she is a kind, generous lady when I've seen her speak. I think she is the one who is behind her husband pushing him on what he did in MA on healthcare. I personally think she's not as conservative as her husband is trying to act. I could be wrong and I'm sure someone here will tell me I'm way off base, but that's been my impression of her.

It's funny how these wives can sellout their ideology to placate their husbands.

(34,857 posts)It's amazing. Disheartening. Disgusting.
All you have to do is look at the Republican women who voted for the Blunt Amendment to see how much people lack common sense in our society.

(8,224 posts)where one no longer needs to think about money because it is always there, like the air we breathe. You don't have to think you are wealthy, you don't have to think about money at all, you have people for that. Everything you want is just always there, just the way you want it, at the time you need it.
One also does not feel lucky to have air to breathe, we just take it for granted. For a few, money is also like that.
(What she doesn't get is the simple fact that she can go about life not considering her wealth, is a gift only great wealth provides)
