REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

Pointing out the documented fraud/suppression in NY, should not be met with outrageous slander; conflation with 'climate deniers'; which we all know is tantamount to saying poster is a brain-dead, science-rejecting Republican. Unacceptable.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Tue May 10, 2016, 05:27 PM, and the Jury voted 1-6 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: There was election fraud. Trying to suppress that is disgusting.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I would say "Forget it Jake, it's Gosh Darn Primaries!" but I think I already used that one.
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Disagreement trends here turn into aligning those who disagree as ..."climate deniers"? This is over the top and ongoing. FFS, take a breath if you don't like what someone said in response to your first nasty remark.

In NYC there are 3,071,159 registered Democrats. Bernie drew a crowd of around 30,000. That's about 1% of registered Democrats. 60,000 Democrats were purged from voter rolls which is about 2%. Clinton won Brooklyn 60-40, won Manhattan 66-33, and won the Bronx 70-30.

So even if those voters were all wrongly purged and they were all Sanders voters, he still wouldn't have won. Even if the entire crowd at his rally were purged from the voter rolls it would have made no difference.

There is no correlation between rally attendance and votes. And even the most impressive rallies are just a tiny fraction of the overall electorate. The claims of fraud are ridiculous, and using pictures of big rallies as evidence that something fishy happened is even more ridiculous.

important to them, including Q&A's and feedback.

Bernie prefers to be on stage and just give the same old stump speech - pounding his fist and peppering his rhetoric with "bankers!" and "Wall street!" and "free free free!".

One candidate is interested in policies that work, that can be implemented, that will improve life for a vast majority of Americans.

The other is interested in hearing his name chanted and saying whatever is necessary to get the voters good and mad, and then sell himself as the great hammer that will pound all the boogeymen he just created into submission. The fact that absolutely nothing he proposes can or will ever pass, would bankrupt the country and won't work even if it could be implemented is immaterial. It's all about the sizzle... not about the steak.

The size of these rallies is meaningless. The numbers are insignificant. His big rally in NYC represented about 1% of registered Dems in the city, and she won by 20 points. You could have counted the vote of everyone at the NYC rally 10x and he still would have just barely tied her in the state!
