Surveys have repeatedly found Bernie Sanders beating the presumptive GOP nominee by a larger margin than Hillary Clinton.

Lauren McCauley
The NBC News/SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll found that if the 2016 presidential election were held today, 53 to 40 percent of voters would elect Sanders over Donald Trumpwhich is more than double the margin that Hillary Clinton holds over the presumptive Republican nominee.
According to the survey, which was conducted online from May 2 through May 8, the former secretary of state also leads Trump, but with a far smaller margin: 49 to 44 percent, with an error estimate of plus or minus 1.3 percentage points.
Meanwhile, a separate poll found that in key presidential swing states the anointed nominees are running neck and neck."

(5,636 posts)... he'll lose badly against Trump once Trump starts the negative ads against him.
I mean, let's face it, who is going to vote for a guy who voted against the Amber Alert, praises Castro, promises to raise taxes, and has climate plans that virtually guarantee a massive increase in the cost of energy. Fair or not fair, just as many Bernie supporters have been sold a bill of goods about Hillary, Trump will sell a bill of goods about Bernie. If Bernie supporters are naive enough to fall for all the bullshit about Hillary, there's no doubt the American people will be naive enough to fall for all the bullshit about Bernie.

(4,667 posts)Bernie has been consistently progressive.
Maybe that bothers the Hillarians- but its a fact. Hillary has been triangulating trying to give the people the least while capturing the most votes. bernie has just been saying what he thinks is best. Hillary is a political gamer who is putting her own campaign above the national interest. We should vote for Bernie.
