Also Newt really should drop out now, he utterly failed everywhere outside of Georgia.

If he wasn't in the race instead of "OHIO TOO CLOSE TO CALL" the story would be more like "Rick Santorum has won Ohio by a modest margin"

9. Cleveland is more populous and that's why it takes longer than the more rural areas.

But I agree with you re: Gingrich: he is causing Santorum to lose this thing. Had he pulled out earlier, Santorum may have won in MI and now OH.

and, it is an old hotbed for vote-switching, which delays the counting

Santorum has five counties he leads in yet to fully report. Romney has ten. Romney's are high population areas too. I don't see how Santorum can win.
