I’ve had it with Bernie Sanders.

I’ve had with it his moral preening. I’ve had it with his simplistic, one-dimensional view of American politics. I’ve had it with his labeling anyone who supports his opponent as fundamentally corrupt and a handmaiden of the 1 percent. I’ve had it with his never-ending list of excuses for why he’s not doing better. I’ve had it with the exaggerations he tells his supporters about his chances of winning. I’ve had it with his refusal to demonstrate any leadership as these same supporters crudely attack Sanders’ political opponents.

One year ago, when Sanders announced his candidacy, he said that his pursuit of the Democratic nomination would not be about Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders but rather “about the needs of the American people, and the ideas and proposals that effectively address those needs.”

Those days have come and gone.

Instead, the Sanders campaign has devolved into an angry, pointless, and ego-driven campaign, more interested in promoting Sanders for president than the issues for which he claims to care so deeply. .............

The more you guys say IT'S OVER the more certain I become that it must not be true. And why the hell do you care so much? In clinical terms your reaction seems overdetermined.

short of the wheezy, artificial "Sanders is hurting Clinton's chances." Pure stupidity.

If Clinton were half the candidate they mindlessly insist she is, there would be no need to trot this ridiculous crap out, time after time. As it is, Her Inevitability has been having a rough time of it, and nothing is going to change that.

Talk about putting party above its members, as though the prospect of getting soundly fucked by one's own candidate were a small price to pay for "winning."

It's definitely not over. Back to the primaries, and on to Philadelphia!

The guy who wrote this trash: "Maybe it’s the fact that he’s 74, would be the oldest man to ever become president, and yet couldn’t be bothered to release his medical records until a Clinton surrogate attacked him for it.

Why am I gonna take him seriously?

Oh, wait, this is more of you guys punching down, isn't it? "She's inevitable." "It was over months ago." "He's wasting his donors' money." But also: "He's destroying the party!"

Well, have at it. Nobody believes you, and quoting a hack won't change that.

But Bernie won't be happy until he scorches the Democratic Party, the same party he trashed all these years so nobody should be surprised that he's doing it now.
