Related: About this forumWhy does Bernie keep pissing on the south
Do southern states not matter?
This man wants to steal the nomination and by peddling his bullshit that he can flip the super delegates, he's effectively telling southern voters that their votes don't matter at all.

(46,179 posts)attempting and failing to paint Sanders with false allegations, while at the same time they feel the need to point out that they've "won." If they've "won," why would they need to keep up the negative propaganda?
Okay, let's just get to the real question: why would I expect Clinton, her campaign, or her supporters to be logical, reasonable, or less than hateful?
jillan
(39,451 posts)She wants to declare the primary over without letting these states have a say:
California, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Mexico.
Why is she trying to silence the voters in these states?
KingFlorez
(12,689 posts)You people keep screaming that somebody is trying to "silence" states that haven't voted yet, but none of their primaries have been canceled. Unless you can show some evidence that those primaries have been canceled, sit down.
And Clinton has never categorically dismissed any state like Sanders has. She doesn't go around whining about how states didn't vote for her like Sanders does.

(12,689 posts)It's a lie that Clinton is stopping people from voting and it's a lie that keeps getting repeated. Not agreeing to a debate isn't canceling the primary. People who haven't voted yet are still going to get to vote.

(34,177 posts)The only thing pissing me off currently is electoral fraud, and that is a DNC problem, not a Bernie problem.
I think some day, the Democratic party is going to take a good look back and realize that they have pissed off too many voters and stacked the deck too thick.
My party has pissed all over everything. I hope it was worth it to them.
LiberalFighter
(51,005 posts)The DNC does not create the laws for conducting elections. It would be nice if they had that power.
Even the Democratic Party of each state do not create the laws for their state. The laws are created by the state legislatures and they are not all the same in each state.
The only thing that is the same in each state except for a few exceptions is that the delegates are allocated proportionally based on the election results. Nothing mysterious about it. It is all defined in the Convention Rules that has been out there for quite a while. In fact, it has been pretty much the same since about 1984.
Aerows
(39,961 posts)the evidence of election fraud that has occurred in the Democratic primary?
Because if you do not, you are blind in one eye and can't see out of the other.
I was born at night, but it wasn't last night.
LiberalFighter
(51,005 posts)But you don't identify it. And again, the DNC does not control the election process.

(6,719 posts)He is asking for fair representation based on the popular vote. He is not asking southern super delegates to shift. Our clinton on the other hand did in deed say California does not matter so here I sit once again -- I do not matter.

(2,101 posts)all too often it reveals more about the biases, prejudices, and attitude of the one making the comment than it does of the person of whom they speak. Make of this what you will, it is a general statement.

(45,319 posts)anti trans hate bill. NC already has no bars to discrimination against LGBT in employment or housing. Not one State in the South has such protections for LGBT. Why do they keep pissing on us? And why do Hillary people keep insisting that the only States which mater are the anti gay States? Oregon does not count, Washington does not count, California they don't want to bother with, Hawaii has too many Asians to be diverse, Alaska is too cold to count. But any State that passes anti gay laws, oh boy they are the Voice of the People according to Camp Clinton.

(50,299 posts)I remember one black pastor who was interviewed didn't try to contain his dislike of the Jews. But who knows? It's anybody's guess. Bernie certainly has proposals that would benefit people in the southern states where poverty is most prevalent.

(50,299 posts)I have never demanded Hillary explain why she's lost so many states. I assume it's her "fault," but what does it matter? Now . . . scurry along and post something about Bernie's taxes or the "riot" in Nevada.

Vinca
(50,299 posts)I don't see the point in carping on these things. We should be focusing on Donald Trump and who will be able to beat him in November. Right now it's looking like Bernie. You must give up your Bernie hatred enough to see the big picture.

(50,299 posts)Shouldn't you be more concerned about Donald Trump? Unless you failed math, it appears Hillary will be the nominee. I don't know why Hillary supporters continue to do as much as they can to stop Bernie people from wanting to vote for her. Without our votes, she does not win.

(50,299 posts)Once he's gone, all we'll hear 24/7 is stuff about emails, the Clinton Foundation, Benghazi and lurid details of Bill's affairs. Hillary isn't wasting any money on Bernie at this point. She's already in general election mode. Fortunately, for her, the primary is still big news on the Democratic side so she's getting a delay in what is going to be the dirtiest campaign in our history.

Bernie, who proclaims himself the stronger GE candidate, has shown no indication that he will vigorously target any southern states at all.

What's bullshit is your lame unfounded assertion that Bernie is stealing anything. Gawd, get a fucking grip.... Bernie is following the rules and that's all he's doing. Problem is they are making up new rules all the time in their failed lame ass attempt to get H nominated. Which is going to fail, and Bernie will be the victor! Get ready to vote for Bernie come Novemeber.
