If Bernie needs more money to pay off campaign debts, I'll gladly donate.

I will NEVER give HRC any of my money.

Bernie spent more because he gets no FREE media attention.

Off to make another donation. Thanks for the updates!

It takes a staggering amount of $$ to go from 4% name recognition to serious national presidential contender against the likes of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Bernie hasn’t had the free air time that Trump has been given.

Personally I'm thrilled he's using it to get the message out.

it's not surprising that an insurgent candidate will have a high burn rate.
The advantage of being the chosen one of the Establishment is that it can supplement you campaign needs and PR machiine.

What is astonishing is that Bernie has lasted this long without the aide of corrupt corporations and has won contests against HRC. That is what infuriates HRC and her minions.

12. Ugly numbers for Bernie...

Bernie spent $38,602,749.93 in April...
http://docquery.fec.gov/pres/2016/M5/C00577130.html

On April 1, Bernie had 1043 pledged delegates.
On April 30, Bernie had 1372 pledged delegates.

In April he won 329 pledged delegates.
Cost per delegate won for Bernie was $117,333.59

Similarly, Hillary spent $23,864,888.95 in April:
http://docquery.fec.gov/pres/2016/M5/C00575795.html

On April 1, Hillary had 1261 pledged delegates
On April 30, Hillary had 1663 pledged delegates.

In April, she won 402 pledged delegates.
Cost per delegate won for Hillary was $59,365.40

Which is a bit more than half of what Bernie spent per delegate won in April.

On April 1, Hillary's delegate lead was +218 (1261 to 1043)
On April 30, Hillary's delegate lead was +291 (1663 to 1372)

Bernie spent $38 million in April and fell 73 delegates further behind.
