The latest national ABC News/Washington Post poll has Donald Trump beating Hillary Clinton for the first time in a matchup between the two likely presidential nominees.

Forty-six percent of respondents want Trump to defeat Clinton versus 44 percent who prefer a Clinton presidency.

Even though Trump's lead is still within the margin of error, it is notable.

In how many polls is Trump moving ahead now? I think we need to discuss the electability of Hillary. Her unfavorables are above 50% and you cannot win when more than half the people don't like or trust you. Are we going to sacrifice the election because Hillary thinks it's her turn and she's owed the White House?
