LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Hillary Clinton is well positioned to defeat Bernie Sanders in California's presidential primary, according to an exclusive Eyewitness News poll conducted by SurveyUSA.
The poll results, released on Monday, showed that Clinton would defeat Sanders 57 percent to 39 percent. The results of the poll showed that Sanders continues to lead among the youngest voters, while Clinton leads by 12 points among voters age 35 to 49.
The latest poll results indicate that Clinton carries California 52 percent to Trump's 38 percent.
To date, Clinton leads Trump by 14 points. In comparison, Barack Obama carried California by 24 points in 2008 and by 23 points in 2012. For Trump, the survey shows a gender gap. The business mogul is losing California by 3 points among men and 25 points among women.
Another notable figure in the survey results involves Clinton's negatives. Among Democrats who told SurveyUSA they are paying "a lot" of attention to the 2016 election, Clinton defeats Trump in California by 9 points, 50 percent to 41 percent. Trump's negatives have remained constant over the past three polls conducted in California by SurveyUSA, whereas Clinton's negatives have increased over the same period.

(51,122 posts)Hillary will own California. She'll be up 4 million+ votes over Sanders after that.

(24,396 posts)hold big, expensive and ultimately meaningless rallies that draw people to an arena event but that doesn't turn out the vote when it matters.
And he no longer has the $ to flood the airwaves with political ads to try to make up the gap between himself and Hillary.
And, today is the last day to change your CA voter registration to D or NPP if you wish to vote in the D primary on June 7.
Could be a blow out of historic proportions.

(24,396 posts)CA Dems don't like Sanders.
And once Hillary is the nominee, her CA numbers for the GE against Trump will go up.

Clinton is up (a smaller amount) among voters for the general (combination of all parties and independents).
