one of the most influential climate change activists will be on the platform committee

Bernie has made great picks to be on this committee. Even Hillary supporters who can't stand Cornel West, should be pleased with Bill Mckibben, Rep. Keith Ellison and Native American activist Deborah Parker. He also chose Palestinian rights activist James Zogby.

James Joseph Zogby[2] (born 1945) is the author of Arab Voices[3] and the founder and president of the Arab American Institute (AAI), a Washington, D.C.–based organization which serves as a political and policy research arm of the Arab-American community. He is Managing Director of Zogby Research Services, LLC, specializing in research and communications and undertaking polling across the Arab world. In September 2013, Zogby was appointed to the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom by President Obama. Zogby is a lecturer and scholar on Middle East issues and a Visiting Professor of Social Research and Public Policy at New York University Abu Dhabi.[4] He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Democratic National Committee.

We need his kind of courage on both fronts.

Nope, he played it safe and stayed near a college campus. That is NOT a sign of courage.

Liberty was an easy place to go as compared to sitting face to face with the very people you have condemned for their jobs.

a meaningless "concession" meant to appease us. To put it into context, even staunch HRC champion, Markos Moulitsas, is contemptuous of it:

Heck, I’d give him all the seats, since no one except Sanders ever cares about the platform. If people want to fight over a document that no one will ever read or reference after the convention, all the power to them!

He favors it as a means to make Saunders "tone down criticism" of HRC.

If HRC wants me to consider voting for her, she can do something substantial. DWS' metaphorical head on a pike would be a start. Denounce her support of the payday ending industry and promise that if elected, she will be fired and not given any position in the administration.
