2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumReminder: the FBI is a large organization.
Just because a guy associated with the Clinton Global Foundation is being investigated for corruption at the same time the FBI is wrapping up an investigation into Hillary's emails that she deleted that were ALL PERSONAL that the FBI recovered doesn't mean the two issues are related.
Let's just wait for the process to play itself out. If the Clinton Global Initiative donors were really involved with corruption issues with rich billionaires, odds are good that more names will be dropped soon.
ON EDIT: McAuliffe only shows up 74 times in Hillary's State Department emails on Wikileaks!

(10,559 posts)that "Clinton Foundation Pay to Play" is open speculation. Rumor has been flying about a lot of people who aren't going to be happy to be found in the "deleted but recovered" yoga lesson emails.

Did I mention that Terry was at the foundation during this time frame?

(491 posts)I could be wrong but I thought the lawyer/spokesperson for Judicial Watch said it was embarrassing.
I believe the judge said it was "very very very troubling."

The Romanian hacker known as Guccifer, who claims that he got into Hillary Clinton's private server, is set to change his plea from not guilty in his federal case, according to court records.
Marcel Lehel Lazar will appear in a Virginia courtroom on Wednesday for what's described in the court docket as a change of plea hearing.
Lazar had pleaded not guilty when he was extradited last month to face charges of hacking American political elites including Gen. Colin Powell, a member of the Bush family, and former Clinton advisor Sidney Blumenthal.

Lazar's defense lawyer and federal prosecutors could not be reached for immediate comment on whether the change of plea means he has struck a cooperation deal with the government.
I'm sure he had a good reason to change his plea. I'm thinking ^^^^.

(10,559 posts)Publicly proclaiming he both read the secret classified documents and has them gigs of them stashed safely.
Some people think he is a blow hard lying for the glory of it. Some people think he's telling the truth.
Looks like the FBI is expecting him to be "credible".
Bob41213
(491 posts)And they interviewed him extensively before he left Romania so I assume the figured out his credibility before they bought the tickets.

(50,130 posts)...then that is proof that HRC mishandled classified info by allowing it to be where it was vulnerable and unprotected.
And remember. One count for each document, HRC.

(3,411 posts)If he has docs stashed like I've seen claimed, he's got a lot of 'something there' to dicker with when it comes to a plea bargain.

(3,190 posts)I'll be the first to admit that the RW has relentlessly pursued the clintons for a long time, but too often there is substance behind their attacks. They just look under the wrong rocks for the wrong reasons, and they are too stupid to realize it.
