2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumSo is Warren running for Veep?
What do we think? No one, including Bernie and Hillary, has been as relentless and merciless (and flat-out hilarious) in criticizing Trump. It's awesome, but it's not what you'd expect from someone who won't be in a race this fall. It is, however, exactly what you'd expect from a Veep in traditional attack-dog mode. Is she running? What do we think?

(4,311 posts)I fear the country is not ready for an all-woman ticket.
Of course, what the hell do I know, I thought the same thing about Obama and he won. I'm very glad he won, but I never thought America would elect an African American. I was happy to be proved wrong.

(114,904 posts)Secondly she's from a northeastern state that is a sure dem safe state. Thirdly, Warren eclipses Hillary. Fourth, reportedly there is no chemistry between the two.

(5,737 posts)She knows that she will very likely end up in a very high leadership spot when the Democrats take back the Senate. Being in the majority, she could really kick some ass.

(2,760 posts)So she's using her platform to make it known. If I had such a platform, I'd do the same thing.

(36,418 posts)HRC is no longer viable. The State Dept just found she violated numerous departmental regulations dealing with information security and records retention, however. That is as far as this one goes, but it points to how the Intelligence Community report and the Bureau findings will find she violated federal laws by similarly mishandling classified materials.
She's cooked, and the party needs to replace her and, I think, she will release her delegates at the Convention.

(20,886 posts)Actually, Warren is standing up for what she treasures: integrety. Trump doesn't have it; never had it; never will have it.
