Meet the Shirtless Men Who Stood Front Row at a Hillary Clinton Rally
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/meet-shirtless-men-stood-front-row-hillary-clinton/story?id=39374776
The crowd at Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's rally in Buena Park, California, was so fired up that two men standing in the front row lost their shirts.
The shirtless men, who arrived at the venue at 5 a.m. to secure their spots, were fully clothed when the event started but dramatically took them off as Clinton spoke.
The cops at the rally were going to ask them to leave, but Clinton joked that they could stay as long as they didn't take anything else off.

(38,613 posts)Or should I take them seriously because they drew H's on their chests? Such astute political analysis

(3,473 posts)It's noted that you see voters as "idiots".

(20,176 posts)I'm a teetotaller (and a recovering drug and alcohol addict) and I love Bernie.
Also, I'm amused by the shirtless men at the Hillary rally...political rallies need more people like that. Banners and face-paint would be cool too. Make it fun, like a homecoming rally...it'll reflect well on how boring political candidates usually are.

http://thehill.com/blogs/in-the-know/in-the-know/280944-tommy-chong-insulted-he-was-disinvited-from-sanders-event
The comedian and pot advocate said he was scheduled to introduce the Vermont senator at a Los Angeles rally, and was dropped just hours before it was to take place.
"It's lip service to get the votes, but they don't want to endorse what I stand for and what I've stood for all my professional career," Chong told The Hollywood Reporter after he was uninvited from the rally.
"It was an insult."
The Sanders campaign said in an email they appreciated Chong's support, but a "scheduling issue came up."
Chong, who endorsed Sanders earlier this year, blamed his advocacy for marijuana for the incident.
He expressed regret for a video endorsement in which he praised Sanders for supporting the legalization of marijuana.
"Now I'm going to look like a fool, like one of those guys who starts bragging about something that isn't true," he said.
"And I don't like that because my endorsement means a lot because of what I have gone through and what the whole {marijuana} culture has gone through."
