Although this PPP poll shows Obama lower than some other recent pollsters for WA which have had him doing better than that.

A good sign for Inslee in the Governor's race though.

Obama has lesser margins, while the racist vote down South has expanded Mitt's vote from McCain.

show smaller Obama leads with land line users and big Obama leads (usually) with those who use cell phones.

I'm still worried. WA is a cesspool when it comes to voting.

Which is not necessarily a bad thing. Other than this poll the lowest margin I have seen for Obama in WA is 14... I suspect it will be north of 10 pts when all is said and done...

Out of curiosity, I went to look at the 2008 results. Looking at the final poll avg for Washington, Obama was at about the same number (53-something). And he outperformed at the polls.

Maybe O is doing just as well; it's just people like R/R better than M/P. Wonder if that's the same all over?
