2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumFor those of you who think that worrying about losing one's job is "other people's problems"....
I have something to show you...
Only Bernie is standing up for Americans' ability to earn a living. Big corporations are destroying the ability of many Americans to make a living, and it's getting a lot faster with automation and super smart artificial intelligence. You'd be a fool if you think you are immune from the ravages of corporatism. Hillary doesn't give a damn shit about your ability to make a living, as she is one of the corporatists.

(5,477 posts)"outsourcing" always means to another radiologist who is licensed to practice in that state, but not necessarily onsite.

(1,595 posts)Tens of thousands of people would lose their job if not for IM EX bank and Bernie is voting against them. So, Bernie priorities is not jobs. It's banks.

It's a very meaningful memorial, for anyone interested in visiting it. Not large, but impactful.

(15,805 posts)Its unlikely the current Republican majority would ever allow any such regulation, so what power does any president have to take control over a private sector business and prohibit automation? Pls link to his official policy paper on this issue.

(744 posts)What about all the Bernie fans who called her non-political place of work to cost her a job that had nothing to do with her role in politics? What about the jobs of all the other folks who work at that bar who could lose their jobs as a result of the constant phone calls and distractions? Once that happened, the Bernie movement lost any shred of moral high ground it had left.

(10,721 posts)Like yesterday's thread about how DU posters are railing against Bernie's "class warfare."
Or the threads about how DU posters claim Clinton will reach 2383 via pledged delegates alone.
And so on. DU has too many straw men to count.
