at the hands of the Republican attack machine. That tendency may have always been there but it became entrenched because of it. Hillary says she wears the scars of constant Republican attacks against her with pride, and I can understand her having that sentiment. But it doesn't hide the fact that we all now are paying a steep price because of it.
