Let's play Pretend and imagine that the Democratic Party had picked Sanders over Clinton. How much of the platform does anyone believe he would have put under her direct control, the same way he is demanding control of the platform now?

Is there any precedent for this kind of behavior? It's insane that the first woman to win a major party nomination is being treated like this by the guy who finished second.

Nice to see your colors flying high.

Either way, this entitlement mentality of Sanders and his supporters is rich. They always want to take, take, take without any give.

When Barack Obama emerged the winner, by a far smaller margin than exists between Bernie and Hillary, I jumped right onboard. Whatever other supporters of these candidates may or may not be entitled, you clearly are, and I definitely am not.

On Sat May 28, 2016, 10:27 PM an alert was sent on the following post:

IMO Sanders doesn't owe the DNC a damn thing. They have cock-blocked him at every turn.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=2077964

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

Cock-block is a term used to describe someone who prevents a college boy from getting pussy regardless of the women's desires. Lived it. Look it up before voting. Never though I would alert but this is freeperville stuff. Sickening.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Sat May 28, 2016, 10:38 PM, and the Jury voted 1-6 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: It's a figure of speech. Perhaps a rude one, but a figure of speech none the less.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Not getting the outrage on this one.
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No, normal use of the term means to stop someone from reaching a goal by aggressively getting in the way.
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I don't like references to privates, not in posts, and not in alerts. However "cock block" has to do with getting in the way of someone trying to have sex. It's not a rape term, per se. And it is now part of a coarse vernacular meaning to get in someone's way, full stop. If you are that delicate, alerter, you would not have used "pussy" in your alert. Your alerts smells more of anti-Sanders bias than of anti-rape concern. Not buying it.

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

I was a Hillary supporter in '08 and I though her supporters here were a little nuts. I wasn't just a visitor at the time because I didn't want to get in the fray of such heated discussion. I should have stuck to that policy this time around because this is just way beyond anything that went on back then. It's a hundred times more vicious and crazy than '08 was. I very quickly shifted to Obama back then and I'll shift to Bernie if need be this time, but I will never, ever feel about him the way that I felt about Obama because the difference between them is so stark. Obama rose about the voices of his most hateful surrogates and drowned them out with a positive message. Bernie is as bitter and as angry as many of his supporters and it's uninspiring to say the least.

Or did he appoint Clinton supporters with his 4 slots?

Funny thing is, the DNC was under no obligation to let him pick ANY of the committee members.

Now he thinks he should get to pick who leads it.
