Let's just get it over with. Let's us get all the "first" this or that out of system.
First handicap. Done.
First elderly. Done.
First black. Done.
First women. Pending.
First Hispanic. Pending.
First LGBTQ. Pending.
First Asian. Pending.
First (fill in the blank). Pending.
First (fill in the blank). Pending.
Let's get all the "first" done so we can focus on electing the best person for the job (FYI, before it starts, despite having some disagreement with him, I still know that PBO was the best person for the job, in 2008 and 2012). The best, without regard to their race or sex or any other trait but their ability to do the job in the manner Democrats should expect. The best person that is not part of a family that has been in the executive branch of government for almost 35 years in a row. How isn't a millionaire or billionaire. Who hasn't become a multimillionaire by doing 20-minute speeches to mostly banking and investment companies directly tied to one of the worst economic crisis in modern U.S. history.
To be blunt, it doesn't necessarily mean it's Sanders. At the end of the day, it's not about him specifically. It is about the issues and concerns that he brings to the table and believing that it has to be about us, that the poor and middle class, who are tired of being "compromised" while the wealthy keep reaping the financial benefits of a society rigged in their favor.
We, the poor and middle-class, regardless of any other trait, are the majority and we deserve to be first!

Do poor and middle-class people still vote for the bushes and an WJC or HRC? They do. Does it mean it's actually in their best interest without the "lesser of two evils" or "best option available" argument? I would say it is not.
It's what is offered, chicken or fish, no matter that you're a vegetarian.
You see the key to a "compromise" is that "no one wins". Unfortunately, for the poor and middle-class, though we have never one, the wealthy have won every time.
