A girl at my church just explained how she got her mom to vote for Obama

I was just there and heard this afterwards at my church (which is a liberal evangelical one.) Her mom (Catholic) was buying into all the propaganda the bishops and church was throwing at people, and mostly leaning toward voting for Romney. She kept arguing with her mom that Obama was a Christian while Romney wasn't and that Ryan wasn't a real Catholic because of his following of Ayn Rand and that she believes him to be a closet atheist. Her mom seemed a bit unclear and up until now believed Mormons were just another branch of Christianity.

Well today she reported her mom called her yesterday and said she was voting for Obama again. She had "looked into Mormons and "this Ayn Rand lady" and came to the conclusion that neither Romney or Ryan were Christians and did buy the "Ryan is really a closet atheist" thing.

I'm quite happy since this shows that the propaganda can work in our direction too. We've have had people pushing this just like too many believe Obama is a Muslim, and because it's won even a few people over, that's why Romney is going down on Tuesday.

Luckily we know that rank and file Catholics don't care what they think.
