(34,845 posts)How long does it take to process certifications? Before anyone cries "Fraud!", it seems like those two questions need to be answered first.

(34,845 posts)If so, it would seem like poor organization to wait until the last minute. If they were submitted at the same time or even before Clinton's list, then there might be a reason to doubt the impartiality of the election officials, unless there is an understandable reason for the delay.
If they were submitted after Clinton's list, then slow-moving bureaucracy seems more plausible.

(34,845 posts)I have no idea what is involved with a certification process. Do names need to be verified or something? It doesn't sound like fraud to me. A bureaucracy that processes documents delivered at closing time on the next business day is pretty good, imo.

(34,845 posts)Did the Clinton Campaign deliver their list much earlier? If so, it would explain why that campaign was ready to go on Friday. All I'm saying is that more information is needed before accusations of fraud are leveled.

(3,937 posts)The fable illustrates the logical fallacy of ad hominem attacks. The VILLAGE, not the boy, pays a high price for prejudging and attacking the speaker rather than seeking out the truth themselves.

(713 posts)I hope this goes viral. And if it does turn out to be the most blatant of all the voter fraud that has taken place, at least if it's that obvious, maybe, just maybe people will take their blinders off and stand up for democracy.

(34,845 posts)Any news on whether or not this occurred? My guess is that they were and the certifications being received at such a late time made it difficult to get them processed quickly.

(10,516 posts)There seems to be a bit of BS in this one too. From the cited aticle;
5pm, i.e. the closing time of normal business hours. So once again, it seems that a disorganized Sanders ground game waited til the last possible second, then blames their disarray on Hillary's people. Shameful.

(1,681 posts)With extra attention to the ones outside the exit polls MOE.
I think all elections should have mandatory exit polling and a mandatory audit if it is outside that. I'd even go as far as an audit 100% of the time, by a verified neutral 3rd party.
Note: self-deleted a post because I mentioned Georgia, which Bernie certainly did not win.

(56,582 posts)... regarding one of their poll workers who took two boxes full of cast ballots from one of the prisons and later that evening delivered them to a regional elections committee center, claiming she did not know what to do with them. The matter is under investigation.
I'd probably yell about something else in that circumstance too.
