President Obama Ready to Endorse Hillary and Hit the Trail (As Early as This Week)

We’re lucky to have a President who will be an asset on the trail and embraced by our nominee (something that John McCain and Al Gore did not have to their advantage).

With the President’s approval numbers consistently over 50% for quite a while now, he’s actually more popular than Ronald Reagan was at this point in his Presidency (interestingly, the last President who was succeeded by a member of his own party).

It was reported last week that President Obama is ready to ‘explode’ onto the campaign trail for the Democratic nominee.

4. They just announced that on CNN. It's only a matter of time. I'll bet he's itching to do it!

5. You can pretty much read into this that no charges will be filed against Clinton

At least not before the election.

Somebody as timid and cautious as Obama would not make a strong statement in favor of Clinton if there was a possibility that she was going to be charged with a federal crime.

6. I have to say...

....it's a sad day. When president Obama first took office and called his supporters whiners it should have been clear. I have to say that it is still shocking to see where it ended. This can't wait until after the primary is over? When he came walking out with DWS and she had conceded any of her Quick Loan fiasco to him, you had to guess things would get bad.

And by sad, I want to clarify, it's not sad that he will support the nominee. It's sad that the presumptive winner's character will lead us down a path of trials and unpleasantness.
