First Steps to Unity

One, the heads of the Democratic Party must be replaced. The evidence of their failure to perform in a true democratic manor by helping to inform and educate voters and then get them to vote, is too large to ignore. The simple facts are that Democrats have lost many seats in the last few years and the number of voters in this primary has greatly declined from 2008.

Next, at the convention, Bernie Sanders must be given the greatest honor for his efforts. He must be allowed to speak any time and any place he wants. In many party members minds' he is a true winner and must be treated as such.

Then, true consideration of Bernie's followers, and the Left, must be first and foremost at the convention and in the party's platform.

If one wants party unity, these are the first steps. Anything less can only be determined to be as a desire to defeat party unity and will gain one the PUMA title.

And welcome to DU.

My advice if you want to stick around long, given you are a Bernie fan, is lay real low for over 100 posts. Maybe post a lot of jokes in the lounge? Because, frankly, Bernie fans under 100 posts can easily be removed at the click of a mouse.

On to Philly!

I tend to doubt that he'll be calling the shots as to who is the head of the party.
