If both of those have been called then yes Virginia would make it almost impossible for Romney to win. I think Virginia will be called earlier and we may have to wait on Ohio and Florida though.

I remember seven years ago when Tim Kaine was elected governor, he was trailing badly in early returns, then in the blink of an eye, Kaine took a commanding lead and was declared the winner.

I can just hear Chuck Todd now. "Romney is up big in Virginia. If you look at the map, you can see that all these counties have already voted and Romney has a decided advantage. These three red counties aren't in and they are expected to go big for the challenger as well. You're going to want to ignore this county up here, that is where the cities are....mumble mumble(is he chewing gum?) and so Romney has clearly won Virginia's 13 electoral votes."

I think that he'll at least do his job and be a professional on Election Night. Especially after making an absolute fool out of himself earlier today with whatever the hell it was that he was trying to do with his map. I think he just loves pimping the horse race, and tried to spin it for Romney for as long as he possibly could. Now that it's closing time, he has slowly started to shift his projection in President Obama's favor and seems a bit grim when discussing Romney's chances. He wants to position himself on the winning side, and be able to say that he knew it was coming all along.

If we have really good turnout, we might flip a congressional district and get rid of Eric Cantor.
