Small bomb damages Target bathroom as company faces criticism for transgender policy
EVANSTON – A small bomb exploded in the women's bathroom at a Target store in Evanston on Wednesday, and officials are investigating whether it’s connected to the company’s policy allowing transgender people to use the bathroom of their choice.

Commander Joe Dugan says no one was inside the bathroom when the small explosion happened a little after 4 o'clock. It caused minor damage and no one was injured. Early indications are that a plastic bottle was used but no projectiles like nails or tacks were inside it. Investigators are gathering evidence including examining store security camera video.

Target has been criticized recently for its stand on allowing people in the LGBT community to choose whichever bathroom they identify mostly with, either male or female, stating the company welcomes, "transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”

If this was about "transgender policy,"The right has completely lost its fucking collective mind.

It wasn't difficult. Something half the size of an anemic peanut can get lost.
THAT'S NO EXCUSE!

A famous quote from the Vietnam War was a statement attributed to an unnamed U.S. officer by AP correspondent Peter Arnett in his writing about Bến Tre city on 7 February 1968:

'It became necessary to destroy the town to save it', a United States major said today. He was talking about the decision by allied commanders to bomb and shell the town regardless of civilian casualties, to rout the Vietcong.

On the bathroom business. And we haven't gotten to the gym dressing room issue yet, thankfully.

I have no issues with the transgender policy. In some ways it helps me when I need to accompany my oldest disabled son to the bathroom. And someday, my husband or sons may have to accompany me.

One person I've been debating with is quite liberal, except on this. She simply wants as much privacy as possible and doesn't want to be in the company of male bodies in the bathroom.

The other person is conservative, and I think she's convinced that all men are rapists. She lives in fear of everything, thanks to gop fear mongering.

Dozens of times without ever noticing. I've been in plenty of restaurants and a couple of bars in a number of large cities. Stands to reason that there were a few gals born with guys' junk in the loo.
