Meeting Last Night: Bernie and Hillary vow to work together to defeat the monster Trump.

See here: http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/clinton-sanders-agree-work-together-n592636

The primary is decided. Hillary is the nominee, and Bernie knows it full well (even if he is saying he will appear at the convention and have his name placed in nomination, which he knows will not be approved, as he wants some say in forming the platform).

Bernie and Hillary met for two hours last night. They both say it was a positive meeting. They discussed how to work together on progressive issues and on creating a platform that addresses the issues. Most importantly, they have vowed to work together to defeat the monster Trump whom they both fully agree is a unique threat. They know that this, above all else, is the paramount objective, as should everyone.

I have no doubt that Bernie, who deserves congratulations on a very strong campaign that went far beyond expectations, will ultimately endorse Hillary Clinton and work his heart out to defeat the vile sub-human racist Trump just as every single person who claims to be "progressive" should do in order to be able to share the progressive mantle in this election year when the stakes could not be higher.

but never endorse Hillary Clinton.

Given what Sanders is trying to do to DWS and Barney Frank, I get the feeling that there is a streak of self-righteous vindictiveness in the senator from Vermont.

I'm new here. I'm frankly shocked by some of what I've reading concerning anyone who does not support Senator Sanders. The cult of personality can be very dangerous.

Hopefully it will get better as we move forward to the general election.

If you really care as a new member to make this a better place, don't let yourself get caught up in the anti-Hillary and anti-Democrat messages. If we would let them slide to the bottom of the list they wold stop appearing.

you will not be able to attack the Democratic nominee or the party. And that is a good thing.

That's pretty much standard operating procedure for failed radicals. Never self-analzye and make adjustments, just blame others for everything.

said, of course.

As said the rules change tomorrow. Many will try to slip hostile messages through nevertheless, by expressing "concern" and other methods, and for those I can't think of better advice than LoveOfLiberty's. Each new post pulls bad threads back up to the top of the forum. "Let 'em slide."

"Mr. Sanders received a standing ovation when he dropped in at the Senate Democrats’ weekly lunch to speak about his campaign and pose for an official Senate photo with his colleagues."

Like it or not Hillary supporters, Bernie is gaining respect in the senate.

needs to, work together. Please note, though, although Sanders was greeted with their respect and congratulations for what he has achieved during the primary, for himself and for the party, almost all of them still support the other candidate for president.
