the following states have laws that prevent the loser in a primary running as an independent
Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia

in other states the deadline to file as an independent has passed already

si if he tries to run as an independent all he would be doing would be handing teh election to trump. and in that case he should be ostracized and barred from haveng and democratic support

I don't know if Sanders would go Independent or other party. It probably wouldn't hurt Trump as much as it would hurt Clinton, but Trump is doing a bang-up job of hurting himself right now. Maybe the Republicans will toss him overboard and then it'll be a whole new regatta!

4. Are there sore winner laws? Bernie is fighting for the people he represents and for a certain vision

of the Democratic Party, which many new AND longtime Dems like myself support.

Hillary is doing fine and there's no reason for him to drop out now. He's trying to make sure we're incorporated and heard.

By the way, Bernie has never indicated he would run as an Independent or that he would hurt the Democratic brand in any way. The Clintons, on the other hand cane in with a coalition intent on making the Democratic Party more "business-friendly". Is this really the end goal that PoC want?
