Related: About this forumBernie on transforming the Democratic Party
Sanders said he also looks forward to working with Clinton to "transform the Democratic Party" to make it a party for working people and young people that "has the guts" to take on Wall Street, the pharmaceutical industry, the fossil fuel industry and other powerful special interests that dominate political and economic life.
I really couldn't think of a fitting commentary... Oh, the irony...

(7,820 posts)And I get if many feel the current ptb in the Democratic Party mean trying to fix it from the inside is not an attainable goal, or that trying to push them to the left is pointless. I see it as continuing to agitate and I think that's probably a good thing. I hope he keeps this movement active and engaged and helps keep these issues front and center.

People hold bake sales on this country to help others pay off crazy expensive medical bills due to major illness
Why do so many Americans not give a shit about income inequality? It really bothers me. I believe it really bothers Bernie as well. I truly hope it bothers Hillary as well, but I am skeptical.

Sanders called them the establishment for supporting Hillary. Tossed them under the bus. He calls himself more Feminist than Hillary.

OK: Specifically, other than talking about himself and his great resume,
In what ways has Bernie proposed to transform the Democratic party? You know, the one he hates and ridicules and has been a member for one whole year.

You know, the things that really need to get done.
