Elizabeth Warren visits Hillary Clinton’s Brooklyn headquarters

"Sen. Elizabeth Warren made a visit to Hillary Clinton's Brooklyn headquarters on Friday, a stop that is bound to stoke further vice presidential speculation.

Warren greeted staffers, took photos and delivered a pep talk to mark the start of the general election, according to several sources present at the visit.

According to one attendee, Warren thanked them for their hard work and urged them to keep it up through the general election.

"Don't screw this up," Warren told them, according to one attendee who posted about the visit on social media before deleting it.

She also talked to staff about the importance of the election, including when it comes to issues like filling vacancies on the U.S. Supreme Court and preserving Democratic priorities like the Affordable Care Act and the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act."

Anyone remember the date when Obama announced that it would be Biden? I still would be surprised but I'm thinking it just might end up being Warren.

Actually, there was balance on the ticket, it just wasn't "geographic."

Particularly since that one has the potential to bring unity back to the top of the party.

7. Warren will bring along some of the disaffected, certainly--though plenty of them are tossing her

under the wheels of the bus already. I think Trump is doing more to move voters to Clinton than anyone else, actually. He's a gift that keeps on giving. When Republicans say they'll hold their nose and vote HRC rather than Trump, that's good news for Democrats.

Warren is doing the job that Sanders should have been doing--not sure why he's holding out, but it just makes him look mean spirited. It doesn't really matter anyway--his clout is fading already. His press entourage has disappeared, scattered to the wind. Many have probably been reassigned to follow Warren or other likely VP suspects (and Sanders isn't being vetted for that job per media reports--heck, he hasn't even released his tax returns to the public, never mind to any search committee).

As for Warren, one thing she will do, if she's picked as VP, is make those right wing vicious and inventive scandalmongers in Congress think twice about trying to impeach Clinton--because they'd get their worst nightmare if they did that. It'll just cut that crap right out of the equation!

Clinton understands two steps forward, one back--that IS how effective leaders lead. You have to give a little to get a little, but the important thing is to keep moving the ball towards the goal.

If she picks Warren as her VP, I'll be pleased. I'm a bit tired of changing Senators so frequently of late (we were spoiled for years with Kennedy and Kerry) but it gives a younger MA politician a chance to shine. It'll be a bit more challenging with a GOP governor, but we'll just have to cross that bridge when we come to it.

My gut just tells me that's not going to happen.

I had always thought Julian Castro (which I'd love because he's our former mayor), but I'm even beginning to think it won't be him either.

Guess I'll just wait to be surprised.

6. It's looking as if she will be working

with Hillary regardless of the position. Such a shame Castro's likely out of it this time around, but even inadvertently and unavoidably getting on the wrong side of an issue and his main constituencies are a lesson and there will be other elections. He's 41.

... it seems that something like that would be VERY difficult to keep under-wraps for very long.

As soon as the campaign places the FIRST pre-order for bumper-stickers, buttons, yard-signs, rally-signs or bus-wrap graphics, the secret is out.
