ABC news is giving Trump's campaign too much positive free coverage..... (Original Post) UCmeNdc Jun 2016 OP
Would it have hurt to provide some evidence of what you're talking about? brooklynite Jun 2016 #1

They have aired long segments talking how Trump had decided to pivot and become more presidential, and this without any healthy skepticism of whether it is true or not. I've also seen a segment about the evangelical meeting, that also had no counterpoint.

This is not specific to ABC however. This is how the MSM functions. Something happens and it wipes the slate completely, as if nothing happened before.

...while pundits and analysts say that's what he HAS to do, and while news outlets may say this campaign says they will, I've seen plenty of discussion on the point that he quickly shifts back to his usual sty;e of attacks, polling discussions and personal grudges, his financial situation is dire and the anti-Trump movement at the convention continues to grow.

Where I live I only get a few news sources from the U.S. on the teevee and ABC News is one of them. I never tire of complaining about ABC, it's like a hobby. Republicans get the most air time and neutral or positive coverage. If you didn't know better you'd think the current administration was Republican because they always go first. President Obama who? Hillary Clinton is always in trouble, something is always wrong with her. And ABC reporters have ridiculous speaking mannerisms, emphasizing PARts of WORds and practically leaping up with each SYLLable. Oh, and they've got this new thing where reporters look off camera as if they're being interviewed when they talk about something, like a documentary, it's absurd. Horrible, stupid, yet I can't look away. Like so many American things.
