I'm trying not to let a contentious Primary with those very passionate about their candidate then, color everything today. You may want to try it, it does help to see things as they are now, rather than be colored with how you had seen before. I'm seeing this from both sides...are you not seeing a move civil discussion lately?

But the posts referred to are rubbing salt in wounds rather than "moving on."

Sanders' answer to a question about whether he'd speak at the Democratic National Convention next month. From the NY Times:

“It doesn’t appear that I’m going to be the nominee, so I’m not going to be determining the scope of the convention,” Mr. Sanders said, adding that he has reached no agreement to endorse Mrs. Clinton but has been negotiating with her campaign. “What our job is now is to have her listen to what millions of people in this country who supported me want to see happen. We’ll see how that evolves.”
...
Mr. Sanders also said his campaign had been in regular contact with Mrs. Clinton’s campaign and planned to push for “the most progressive platform in the history of the Democratic Party,” including planks on campaign finance, health care, higher education and the minimum wage.

The senator also said he expected to address the crowd gathered in Philadelphia next month. “I’ve given a few speeches in my life,” he said. “It would be nice to speak at the Democratic National Convention. If they, for whatever reason, don’t want me to speak, you know, so what? But by the way, I expect that I will speak.”

His message is in danger of getting buried by the focus on Trump's insanity and the Democratic response to same. Clinton's significant upswing in the polls doesn't help, either.

I think his strategy was not the best one. As every day goes by I think his power drops. I think had he made a quicker negotiation with Hillary and quit faster, he would have gotten more.

Trump is an awful man, and the rest of this year will be spent focusing on that.

Meanwhile....God knows what is happening behind the scenes and in the rest of the world that is being drowned out by the Reality Show.

As for the scope of the convention, that's pretty much how it goes. The convention is intended to formally introduce the nominee and set the stage for Democrats in the general election. It's not generally a showcase for the runner-up.

Hillary Clinton as the way to defeat Trump and ask his supporters to vote for her in November.

It's a logical progression, and he doesn't need to rush the transition, I think.
