The sit-in needs our help.

Maxine Waters has said that "hell will freeze over" before we leave the floor without a vote. I have a prior family care commitment that keeps me home until next Thursday, but, if the sit-in is still going on then, I'll be heading east to join what I HOPE will be thousands of like-minded people who will be "sitting in" outside the Capitol.

To hell with permits. Massive civil disobedience is surely justified here. I am a 67 year old arthritic who will sleep on the Mall if allowed, in jail if not.

The bullshit stops here. But for my family obligation, I'd be packing now.

Save me a place, OK?
