"Why Trump's Fundraising Struggles Spell Disaster For The Entire GOP", Talking Points Memo:

Donald Trump continues to find new ways to sabotage the Republican candidates below him.

The Trump campaign’s May FEC filing released Monday sent shockwaves across Washington -- no small feat in a political cycle where it feels like nothing can truly surprise anymore.

The candidate who has made bragging about his wealth a trademark of his campaign is kicking off the summer with only $1.3 million in cash on hand -- compared to Hillary Clinton’s $41 million plus. In the month since emerging as the presumptive GOP nominee, Trump has raised only $3.1 million.

The dismal numbers are more than just the latest piece of evidence that Trump’s campaign is in a free-fall. It has a cascading effect on the Senate and House races down the ballot.

If one reads this article, he/she will find out that Trump could really be a total disaster for the Republicans. It is clear and easy to understand. It shows that the door to door work that gets out votes is totally undermined by Trump and could easily destroy the party. Worth the time and effort to read this...

low income folks will give till it hurts. If you craft your message of hate towards the older White folks who feel disenfranchised, they will give and give and the Sarah Pac is evidence of these gifts. Keep them checks a comin.

There's a dumbass-phorism around these parts that goes, "it ain't what you said, it's how you said it." That's the only real problem conservatives have with Donald Trump. Trump is saying all the evil things they routinely think and believe. The only problem is he's saying it to everyone.

The question now is whether Americans of conscience can finally outweigh and overwhelm the conservative system, which has ruled America with an iron fist while draining it of its wealth, ability and spirit. We have never fully succeeded, not across the board.

Donald Trump might be just the guy who can pull it off, though. I'm rooting for him, in the most perverse way, to make America great again by destroying himself and his party.
