WASHINGTON—Today, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) continued to press for action regarding the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s unauthorized email system. In a letter to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, Speaker Ryan requested that the intelligence community refrain from providing any classified information to Secretary Clinton. “This is necessary to reassure the public that our nation's secrets are secure.” Ryan writes.

In addition, Speaker Ryan sent a letter to FBI Director James Comey requesting that he release all of the unclassified findings from the Bureau's investigation. Director Comey is testifying today before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
