Clinton has a double-digit national lead.

Political Wire:

A new Democracy Corps (D) survey shows Hillary Clinton way ahead of Donald Trump nationally, 48% to 37%.

The poll also shows Democrats making gains down-ballot. In a named congressional ballot, Democratic congressional candidates have opened an 8-point lead over Republican congressional candidates, 49% to 41%.

Chuck Toad pointing out the new Pew Poll results and its poll accuracy in June as compared to November.
It stood at 4 points in June 2012 . POTUS won by 4 in November.
Stood by 8 in 2008. POTUS won by 7 point something in November.
He said you cant discount the accuracy of polls in June.

So unless HRC douses herself in gasoline and self immolates
things are looking like I don't need Mylanta today.

15 percentage points, after his convention? And we all know what happened with that one.

I don't expect any radical shifts in the numbers after the conventions, but it's not as if it has never happened. Just a historical footnote.
