Steve kornacki on Msn said the poll of polls average since may puts trump at the high water mark of 44%, that's as good as it gets for him. Hillary broke 51% a few times already.

still command 42%? Really speaks to the failure of civics education in this country, among other failures.

You watch, even CNN will ignore their own poll, they'll go with some other poll that shows it really close.

appear much more knowledgable than Trump. Not because Trump will come to the debate with his underwear on his head...or because of anything in particular he does.

Moderates, republicans, people only casually following politics haven't seen much of her except for stump speech highlights (not awesome) or because of what they hear about her (24/7 unlikable, sleezy, untrustworthy, corrupt, lying). They probably haven't seen much of her unscripted, but have an impression anyway. The impression created by much of media and by hyperbolic RW 'analysts' and pundits.

In debates she won't appear dishonest or untrustworthy or disingenuous. She comes off very well and very knowledgeable in debates. She got a bump when she started debating Bernie and she'll get one with Trump because people who follow the general will realize she's not close to being as bad as the popular memes make her out to be.

The RW and media have established such a low bar wrt HRC that she will easily exceed expectations.

(Side note: there's talk she may not even grant a debate to such an unserious, hateful candidate...might be an interesting tactic to deny Trump a stage for lies).

Anyone who tunes into the first debate expecting Trump to make bigoted remarks throughout will be surprised when he doesn't make any, but instead talks about bringing back factories.
