Tonight is the RNC's rollcall vote...

Will the Chair allow a motion to nominate Ted Cruz or anyone else?

Will 8 States be willing to second the nomination?

Will someone give a nominating speech for anyone other than Trump?

Will all of the bound Trump delegates (many of which are Establishment Party members) show up to vote, or will some "miss the bus" and skip the evening?

Will the "Never Trump" supporters stage another protest?

He will not cause a disruption here and will try to give a speech that positions him for his 2020 run against Hillary.

Anti-Trump delegate promises 'more insurgency'

By NICK GASS 07/18/16 05:21 PM EDT

The outburst on the floor of the Republican National Convention over rules will not be the last protest from delegates opposed to Donald Trump in Cleveland, Colorado delegate Kendal Unruh said Monday.
"You will see more insurgency, because, and I have nothing to do with the fact that people now know that their voices were squelched," said Unruh, the founder of the Free the Delegates movement in a live interview on C-SPAN, accusing party leadership of gaming the process with "strong-armed tactics."

Unruh continued, "I mean, this is just part of what you don't want to do in a fair process, is you don't want to make sure you use every scenario in order to quell dissent. And I mean, we don't live in a dictatorship, we don’t live in a banana republic."
"And what you are seeing is you’re seeing tyrannical types of maneuvers that are applied to make sure the will of the people is not reflected. Have a roll call vote," Unruh said. "You obviously have the majority of people that want a rol lcall vote. And the interesting thing about the vote is it is not the unbinding movement and it wasn’t just the conscience movement where people want to vote their free conscience and not be locked in with the rules and binding and what was passed that of the rules committee."

People are "concerned about the fact the RNC has established itself as king," Unruh added. "And they are allowed now to make any decision in between conventions that it don't agree with. Unaccountable to the people, to the voters, unaccountable to the delegates, to anybody.
"It is not even about the grassroots and the voters anymore," Unruh lamented. "It’s about whatever the party and the establishment and the party bosses want."
Asked whether there would be a roll call vote, Unruh responded, "You are going to see our delegates challenging the roll call votes."

from the Never Trump crowd. What form it will take is hard to predict. That it will be quashed is certain, though. The process of doing that, though, may be excellent television. I expect lots of shouting, considerable booing, and perhaps even a back-turning display by a good number of delegates.

In the end, however, Trump will become the nominee and the disintegration of the Gross Old Party will continue. I recommend staying tuned in this evening. It should be fascinating. Tomorrow's news will tell the tale.
