Galloway was elected in 2010 but the Senator before her was a democrat. Sean Duffy is the congressman (but long serving Rep David Obey was the congressman prior to that) and he is GOP and two of the three Assembly districts in her district are held by the GOP.

Seidel is one of the Assembly Members of the district and has served since 2004, so she has a fair chance I would say if she runs a good campaign and depends on who the GOP gets to replace Galloway.

Hopefully, the GOP will pick a frothing teabagger to run and shoot themselves in the foot.

recall is null and void? That's what worries me. They will just replace a bunch of them after surprise "resignations" and then we have to start all over again.

The balance of the Senate will be determined by the results of the recall elections. There will be 33 Senators when to next Session convenes.
